Introduction
Fixense (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a personal finance utility that helps you track fixed recurring expenses. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Financial data: Expense names, amounts, categories, billing cycles, and monthly income that you manually enter into the app.
- Preferences: Your chosen app language, notification settings, and display preferences.
All financial data you enter is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We do not have access to your financial information.
Information Collected Automatically
- Advertising data: We use Google AdMob to display ads in the free version of the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data for the purpose of serving personalized or non-personalized ads. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for more details.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Personal identification (name, email, phone number, address)
- Location data
- Contacts or call logs
- Photos or media
- Health data
- Browsing history
- Purchase history outside the app

iCloud Backup
If you are a premium member and choose to use the iCloud backup feature, your expense data is stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple’s iCloud Documents. This data is:
- Encrypted by Apple in transit and at rest
- Accessible only through your Apple ID
- Not accessible by us or any third party
- Stored and deleted at your discretion
We do not operate any cloud servers. The iCloud backup feature uses Apple’s infrastructure exclusively.
Third-Party Services
Google AdMob
The free version of Fixense displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process certain data as described in:
Premium members who purchase the lifetime membership will have all ads removed, and no advertising data will be collected.
Apple StoreKit
We use Apple’s StoreKit framework to process in-app purchases. All payment information is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to any payment or billing information.
Apple Push Notification Service
If you enable payment reminders, we use Apple’s local notification system to deliver reminders. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any external server.
Data Security
- All expense data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework.
- Optional biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) is available for premium members to protect app access.
- We do not transmit your financial data over the internet (except to your own iCloud account if you explicitly choose to back up).
Children’s Privacy
Fixense does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require account creation or any personal information to function.
Your Rights
Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:
- Access: All your data is visible within the app at all times.
- Export: Premium members can export data as PDF or CSV.
- Delete: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. iCloud backups can be managed through your device’s iCloud settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
